Angel Kaplan is the singer and guitar player of Bubblegum, powerpop combo with three records released by spanish labels Snap!! and Rock Indiana, and bass player of the present line-up of legendary garage-punkers Doctor Explosion. He has also made very special collaborations with artists like Colin Hare (Honeybus) or The Cynics. The energy from his other projects drops to show an acoustic and intimist sound, heavily influenced by sixties british bands (The Beatles, The Kinks) and their american West Coast counterparts (The Byrds, Love), without forgetting the eighties neo-psychedelic bands (Rain Parade, The Church) or more recent traditional pop luminaries (Elliott Smith, Beachwood Sparks).
